Mike Brooks started his long association with the finance business when he worked his summer holidays for First National Bank. Hooked by the finance bug he qualified as a chartered accountant, and after working in the City for AIB, NatWest corporate banking, and RMG Plc, he joined Loans.co.uk as Finance Director.

There he played a key role in developing that business into one of the country’s leading finance brokers, before a trade sale exit to MBNA. From there he ran his own business consultancy for 6 years working for businesses such as London Wasps, Vita Coco and many other entrepreneurial led businesses before becoming FD at Chargemaster Plc. Attracted back into the finance business with the prospect and long-held ambition of setting up a Bridging Lender, Mike founded Bridging Link and as MD grew Bridging Link as a regulated and non-regulated lender to be highly regarded for its service and delivery to funders, brokers and clients alike.

Mike has now joined Novellus and is relishing this new and exciting opportunity to develop the group into a leading lender in both the UK and Europe.
